We don't know where the obsession of horror movie characters with home improvement items comes from. What we do know is that during Halloween, people love to hit the streets in scary costumes using those same home improvement items.

C&C took advantage of this and launched a special promotion on items that could be used both for creating costumes and fixing up the house after Halloween.

After all, a house in need of repairs is scarier than most horror movies out there.
